Palestinian fisherman killed, four arrested in two separate incidents in Gaza Strip

A Palestinian fisherman was killed and four others were arrested in two separate incidents on Sunday morning in Deir al-Balah and Gaza City.

The Fishermen Committees announced that, at dawn today, fisherman Mohammed Mousa Abu Jayab, 16, was killed, and fisherman Mohammed Atef Al-Aqra was seriously injured by Israeli naval gunfire west of Deir al-Balah while they were attempting to fish.

The boat they were working on was subjected to heavy gunfire from the Israeli navy.

In a separate incident, the Israeli navy arrested four fishermen off the coast of Gaza City.

Eyewitnesses said that Israeli soldiers forced the fishermen to jump into the sea before taking them to an unknown location
