Javad Salehi Artmani, Deputy Director of Airport Operations at Imam Khomeini International Airport, announced the resumption of flights at the airport, including flights carrying pilgrims returning from Hajj. He confirmed that the first Hajj flights landed at the Salam Terminal.
The Iranian news agency Mehr reported on Tuesday that, coinciding with the reopening of Iranian airspace and the lifting of restrictions on air travel, flight operations at Imam Khomeini International Airport have resumed, and the first Hajj pilgrims returning from Hajj have successfully landed at the Salam Terminal.
The Deputy Director of Airport Operations added, “With the return of the country’s civil aviation industry to normal, all operational, service, and support departments at Imam Khomeini International Airport are fully prepared, and services are being provided to passengers, airlines, and all other beneficiaries without interruption.”
