Sudan TMC Deputy Chairman: 30,000 soldiers fighting alongside Saudi-led coalition in Yemen

Deputy Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Military Council (TMC), Mohamed Hamdan Daqlu, said on Sunday  that “over 30,000 Sudanese soldiers are fighting alongside the Saudi-led aggression coalition in Yemen.”

The move  came during his  public speech in Abri on the outskirts of capital Khartoum.

“Some parties want to sabotage our good ties with Saudi Arabia and the UAE and this is unacceptable,” he said referring to opposition.

Saudi Arabia announced from Washington on 26 March 2015 its aggression against Yemen, and the Sudanese regime participated under Saudi financial promises to target the Yemeni People by sending the Janjawid forces accused of war crimes in Darfur.

The US-Saudi aggression has killed and injured tens of thousands of Yemeni People, as well as causing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe in the world because of the siege imposed on Yemen from all sides, under the UN and international silence.

The Yemeni people have bee fighting a legendary epic since five years ,  to defend their land and identity in the face of the US-backed Saudi-led aggression, which brought together mercenary fighters from  several countries in order to divide Yemen and keeping it under Saudi and US guardianship.
