Israeli strikes, explosions hit southern Lebanon

Israeli warplanes carried out several airstrikes on towns in southern Lebanon on Saturday, while Israeli forces conducted heavy explosions and artillery shelling, in continued violations of the ceasefire.

Strikes targeted Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Kfar Tibnit, Mansouri, and areas between Hadatha and Haris, destroying a house. Explosions also targeted infrastructure and residential areas in Tairi.

Since March 2, Israeli attacks on Lebanon have killed and injured thousands and displaced around 1.5 million people.

Despite a ceasefire covering Lebanon, Israeli forces have continued daily violations, according to Lebanese reports.
