Ministry of Human Rights discussed on Monday with the deputy director of the UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, OCHA, to Yemen the aspects of cooperation in the field of human rights.

At a meeting gathered the two sides, Acting Minister of Human Rights Ali Al-Dailami stressed the importance of the United Nations and its affiliated organizations and bodies to play their role towards the crimes and siege imposed by the US-Saudi aggression against the Yemeni people for nearly six years.

Al-Dailami referred to the arbitrary practices taken by the countries of aggression towards the humanitarian aspects and preventing the entry of oil derivatives, which exacerbated the suffering of the Yemenis.

For his part, the UN official affirmed the readiness to make every effort to convey the human suffering of the Yemeni people to United Nations officials and to work to alleviate the suffering.

He pointed to the importance of the meeting to strengthen the relationship between the office and the ministry in order to serve the Yemenis and alleviate their humanitarian suffering.
