An expanded meeting was chaired on Saturday by the Mayor of the Capital Sana’a, Hammoud Obbad, to discuss mechanisms for applying technical and engineering requirements in works, construction, and public security and safety measures.
The meeting also discussed aspects related to strengthening compliance with the technical requirements for granting building permits, including security and safety and adoption of earthquake-resistant engineering designs.
It approved a number of procedures related to the work mechanism and coordination between the works areas in the districts and the Civil Defense Authority, to adopt security and safety requirements within building permits.
