Brig. Gen. Ibrahim Zulfiqari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said on Saturday that controlling the Strait of Hormuz is a strategic necessity for Iran.
In a post on “X,” he said Iran is fully prepared on all fronts to respond to any enemy moves, adding that any US or Israeli aggression will be met with a strong response.
He also urged the US to “accept reality” and not allow itself to be used by Netanyahu.
He further referred to a recent 40-day US-Israeli aggression against Iran, which he said caused civilian casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure.
