A Palestinian girl was killed on Sunday after succumbing to injuries sustained from Israeli artillery shelling that targeted eastern Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip, in a continued violation of the ceasefire agreement.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted medical sources at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis as saying that the body of the girl, Eileen Al-Farra (13 years old), arrived at the hospital after she died from shrapnel wounds caused by an Israeli artillery shell that struck her head near Bani Suhaila roundabout east of the city.
Earlier today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the total number of people killed by Israeli fire since the ceasefire took effect on October 10 has reached 1,041, while the total number of injuries has risen to 3,372, in a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement.
The ceasefire in the Gaza Strip came into effect on October 10 following more than two years of continuous Israeli military operations described as a genocidal war, yet Israeli forces continue to carry out daily violations of the agreement.
