According to the agency, Iranian sources stated that missiles targeted southern and central occupied territories, triggering early warning sirens in those areas.
It is worth noting that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in a statement last night that it had targeted the Ramat David airbase, which it described as “the source of the attacks on Beirut’s southern suburbs,” with ballistic missiles launched by the IRGC Aerospace Force.
The statement said that this operation came “in response to the extensive crime committed by the usurping Zionist entity in southern Lebanon, which led to the killing and displacement of large numbers of people from the areas of Tyre, Nabatieh, and the southern suburbs of Beirut.”
Following this attack, the Zionist entity launched attacks on targets inside Iran, prompting the Iranian armed forces to respond to this hostile act by launching a new wave of missiles against its positions.
