UN: 30 families displaced in Gaza amid “Israeli” expansion in populated areas of “Yellow Line”

The UN OCHA said 30 Palestinian families were displaced in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, after Israeli tanks advanced toward the Al-Attatra junction shortly after midnight.

It said families fled when tanks moved into the area, and a drone dropped incendiary munitions that set three tents on fire. Most families later returned after withdrawal, but six remained displaced due to a yellow concrete barrier placed near their homes.

OCHA warned that such barriers indicate expansion into populated areas along the so-called “Yellow Line,” where lethal force has reportedly been used, and noted ongoing humanitarian assistance for newly displaced families.
