Six Lebanese citizens were martyred on Tuesday in raids launched by the Israeli enemy on the towns of Jebsheet and Nabatieh in the south of the country, as part of the continued violations of the temporary ceasefire by the Israeli enemy.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency, the enemy raid that targeted the town of Jebsheet today led to the martyrdom of three citizens: first qualified soldier in the army Mohammed Ali Obeid, Hassan Mohammed Jawad Obeid, and Mahdi Abbas Obeid.
It added that the young man Mahdi Atwi from Nabatieh Al Fawqa was also martyred when an enemy drone targeted him while he was on a tuk-tuk vehicle near the civil defense center in Nabatieh, after he had survived a raid near the Husseiniya club in Nabatieh. The drone then targeted him again near the civil defense center, and when civil defense members tried to rescue him, they were subjected to a raid, resulting in the martyrdom of two members from the Nabatieh regional center, Hussein Jaber and Ahmed Noura.
Israeli enemy artillery shelling was also recorded on the outskirts of the towns of Majdal Zoun and Al Mansouri.
Enemy artillery also targeted the vicinity of the orphanage in the town of Mifdoun.
The agency reported that there were no injuries in the raid on the house in the town of Teirdaba, and that civil defense teams from the Islamic Message Association inspected it, finding that the house was completely destroyed.
Since March 2 last year, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression on Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian properties, resulting in thousands of martyrs and wounded and the displacement of about one and a half million Lebanese citizens.
A temporary ceasefire agreement came into effect in mid-April, but the Israeli enemy army commits daily violations of the agreement.
